The KinderCare childcare center in Woodbury is collecting diapers for the Diaper Bank of Minnesota. In February, a Diaper Bank volunteer contacted the director because her child attends the center.  She felt it would be a great place for a donation site as all the little attendees wear diapers and often outgrow the size they wear before the box is used up.

The director, Susan Knutson, thought it was a great idea. This center is a big believer in community involvement. They often involve the children in community service projects such as food drives and collecting toys for “toys for tots”. It’s a great way to teach children about giving and sharing.

In just one month, KinderCare has collected almost 500 diapers! Thank you parents and staff!

Community members are welcome to drop off diapers at the center.  Thank you and Welcome to the Diaper Bank family!
