Kate Bonestroo- Has over 30 years of experience working with families with young children. Her work has been dedicated to mentoring and educating parents in the area of infant, toddler and preschool development. She has met with hundreds of parents in all walks of life. And every one of those parents had the same hopes and dreams their children; to be healthy and safe.
Volunteering at the Diaper Bank is a way for Kate to help struggling families reach their hopes and dreams for their children. Kate attended the University of Minnesota where she received both an undergraduate degree and a Masters in Education.
Christi Krautbauer- Joined the Diaper Bank of Minnesota board of directors in 2016 for a really simple reason: because she believes that no parent should have to choose between putting food on the table or keeping their little ones in clean diapers.
M.E. Kirwan(Director of Marketing, Acorn Mini Storage)- M.E. has worked for Acorn Mini Storage since 2014. She is responsible for all aspects of our business marketing including search engine optimization, paid search, advertising, brand standards, management of collateral, earned media and external affairs/relationships. M.E. holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining the Acorn team, M.E. worked at Aimia (formerly Carlson Marketing) and Minneapolis-based Olson, helping to oversee national advertising and loyalty marketing accounts that included Shell Oil, Delta Airlines and Amtrak among others. M.E. and her husband, Chris, are the parents of two girls ages 1 and 3.
Jacki Bilek(Program Assistant)- Has consistently been a strong advocate for children. Throughout her management work at a hospital, low income health clinics, food shelves and job training programs for youth, children and families have been a priority. Her work experience is complemented by first hand knowledge. Having raised her son as a single parent, she understands life’s unanticipated challenges. With this came her belief that staying in community and helping where we can, makes life better for everyone.
That’s what drew her to the Diaper Bank of Minnesota, working in community for the good of families. With a background in fundraising, marketing and program management, Jacki contributes to DBM’s continued growth, distribution reach and, most importantly, helping the children of our community stay dry, healthy and happy.
